Michelle and Joe – Cathedral of our Lady of the Angels – Los Angeles, CA Wedding
Michelle and Joe were referred to me by Brandy and Myles who married back in 2006 (I love them, by the way). Michelle and Joe booked me about a year before their wedding and they didn’t do an engagement shoot, so I wasn’t exactly sure how the day was going to go. The main thing I remembered about our first meeting was that Michelle was drop dead gorgeous and complained that she and Joe HATED the way they looked in photos. This made me a little nervous. To my pleasant surprise, both Michelle and Joe were SOOOOO much fun to work with at their wedding. Michelle was such a cool, relaxed bride with a great attitude and Joe was a sweetheart. Not to brag, but I made them look DAMN good! (I mean, it wasn’t much work)….but I am so happy they dig their photos.
I will not lie, this was a challenging wedding from a photographic standpoint - Cathedral of our Lady of the Angels is VERY dark and they make you shoot from a thousand miles away – plus, their ceremony was late and we had to really rush to get all the shots done in the light as they did not see each other before the wedding. Regardless, I though Veronica and I really prevailed! Thank you so much to their coordinator Liz Coopersmith of Silver Charmed Events who made our job very easy! And to a great bride and groom!
