Kristin and Brice – 6.07.08

6.07.08 was one of the biggest wedding days this year and I could not have spent it with a lovelier couple than this. I loved Kristin and Brice from the first time I met them and my heart only grew fonder as the wedding approached. Originally, they were supposed to have their wedding at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, but as fate would have it, in January, they were told that because of the Gay Pride Parade the following day, no one would be able to park anywhere near the venue. Kristin was devastated as you can imagine and was searching every which way for a new venue on the same date. You know, situations like this are what make you truly realize what a wedding is all about. I mean, it’s great to have the location of your dreams, but ultimately, it’s the fact that you are making a deep commitment to your soulmate witnessed by the people in your life who you love the most is what counts. And such is true with the wedding of Kristin and Brice. This was an INCREDIBLE wedding because two INCREDIBLE people got married who have INCREDIBLE friends and family. Let’s put it this way – not only was the entire audience crying at the ceremony, but so was I….and when I looked at Heather, she was crying too!

Kristin and Brice also had a super cool coordinator, Penny Ryan whose company is called Pennyrella Weddings . So Kristin and Brice got ready at the London hotel, we did photos there, and then we went over to Hollywood and Highland for the ceremony and the reception.

I love this bouquet shot that Heather took!!!

O.K….so I used my new Boutwell actions!

And we were crying too!!

I dug the weird waves….
