Andrea and Les’s Wedding Photos – Marvimon House Wedding, Los Angeles Wedding Photographer, Marvimom House Wedding Photos
The Marvimon is a venue I’ve been wanting to shoot at for a really long time. I’ve seen it on many blogs and it just looked like the coolest place ever. Of course, when I got there, it was even better than I expected, especially because of the unbelievably original floral arrangements of Holly Flora Andrea’s bouquet had asparagus in it, the centerpieces were a combination of exotic flowers and other vegetables such as radishes and artichokes. I just thought it was so creative and fun. Natalie an I were both floored!
And now to Les and Andrea. I had a blast when I first met with them. Les was a little hesitant about posed photos, etc….Andrea was totally into it but their dynamic was really adorable. On the day of, I tried to strike a balance. Not overkill but at least enough time to get us some beautiful images and Les was a great sport. Les and Andrea had only 50 guests at their wedding so it was warm and intimate, at the same time, it was just full of original and unique details that they really wanted captured. Everyone from the flutist to the cake topper (pictured below with all sorts of details from their interests and life) to the AMAZING band they had featuring “Nutty”, to the chefs who did their catering, the speckled lighting on the dance floor. Oh, and the band: I guess they had been out in Claremont at a Jazz club and saw these guys. I mean seriously people, if you are looking for a live band at your wedding that plays Jazz, these are the guys to hire! They did all sorts of great Jazz covers of current pop and alternative classics. Very well done.
I loved Andrea’s vintage dress and veil and general style and I am very proud to post this wedding!
