Michelle and Joe – Cathedral of our Lady of the Angels – Los Angeles, CA Wedding
Michelle and Joe were referred to me by Brandy and Myles who married back in 2006 (I love them, by the way). Michelle and Joe booked me about a year before their wedding and they didn’t do an engagement shoot, so I wasn’t exactly sure how the day was going to go. The main thing I remembered about our first meeting was that Michelle was drop dead gorgeous and complained that she and Joe HATED the way they looked in photos. This made me a little nervous. To my pleasant surprise, both Michelle and Joe were SOOOOO much fun to work with at their wedding. Michelle was such a cool, relaxed bride with a great attitude and Joe was a sweetheart. Not to brag, but I made them look DAMN good! (I mean, it wasn’t much work)….but I am so happy they dig their photos.
I will not lie, this was a challenging wedding from a photographic standpoint - Cathedral of our Lady of the Angels is VERY dark and they make you shoot from a thousand miles away – plus, their ceremony was late and we had to really rush to get all the shots done in the light as they did not see each other before the wedding. Regardless, I though Veronica and I really prevailed! Thank you so much to their coordinator Liz Coopersmith of Silver Charmed Events who made our job very easy! And to a great bride and groom!

Lisa and Rob are having a baby!
Lisa and Rob are the most wonderful clients whose wedding I shot at Casa Del Mar all the way back in 2006! They are buddies with Marcy, Mark who have Zachary and Annie so it’s great that they too are joining the baby train! It’s been several years since I’ve seen them at weddings so it was just so wonderful to see them and catch up. Lisa looked so beautiful and I can’t wait to meet little Grant…due any day!

Holiday Portraits 2009
I know a lot of you have been asking me about this and my regular portrait prices are on the higher side so in the name of “Holiday Spirit” (especially since I happen to be a bit of a grinch….which I am trying to get over because I have a kid) I am going to offer a REALLY awesome holiday special if I can get a bunch of you in one location on the same day!
Don’t worry, the shoots will be all my regular style, some nice ones of everybody looking at the camera and some really fun one’s as well.
Also, this is not limited to families….you can do pets, “we did” shoots, really anything!!!
Please forward this to friends and family……

Laurie and Jonathan – The Roosevelt Hotel, Hollywood Wedding
Laurie and Jonathan had a fabulous wedding despite the typical recession of job losses and job gains. I can’t even imagine planning a wedding under those circumstances, but hey, they are attorneys so they were going to land on their feet! The wedding was at one of my favorite venues, The Roosevelt Hotel and I just love using all the strange spaces within that space. The bar, the restaurant, the street….very fun! Laurie did many of the details (placecards, table #’s, programs) by herself and I really commend her. They looked beautiful. They also had a FABULOUS Rabbi who I thought performed a really beautiful ceremony! Yes, I will get her name! I know I’m the worst at blogging!
