Cambria and Logan @ The Adamson House
Cambria and Logan got married at one of my favorite venues, The Adamson House, on May 2nd. It was such a beautiful wedding, especially considering that her parents, Don and Julie had done most of the planning. Cambria and Login are both scientists, super busy, very sporty, and as Cambria was described at the wedding (”not the kind of girl who would be into planning wedding stuff”). You know, THAT IS TOTALY COOL….and honestly, her parents are so mellow and it seemed like they had alot of fun with it. Cambria and Logan were real sports about posing for me and they were excellent models….however my favorite photos are the candid ones as they have such an amazing chemistry and really enjoyed the day. I love grooms that cry more than the brides….and that was Logan! Cambria and Logan had an amazing coordinator (Michelle Spring from Mia Bella Weddings, who was just the sweetest, calmest person. I love coordinators like that!
The car above is the same car that picked up Cambria’s parents, Don and Julie on their wedding day!
I just love this photo. Having a toddler myself, this ringbearer DID NOT want to put on his jacket! Aaaah, the beginning of independent thought, gotta love it!
I think one of the groomsmen was a gymnast.
Curtis, Debbie and Blair at the Adamson House
Curtis is a little boy who goes to Tess’s school. He is just the sweetest kid ever and I was so thrilled when his mom wanted to do a family shoot. The only drag about living in Malibu is that it’s SOOOO bright by the beach so you don’t want to shoot until later in the day and “later in the day” is when kids are getting ready to go to sleep! Regardless, Curtis had no nap and was a real sport. In addition to his family photos, I got to chase him all over this beautiful historic park. You know, I can shoot and shoot and shoot. I have to remember that the kids have a melting point! But look at all those smiles!
Baby Kate!
Wendy is a friend of Marcy, Mark and Baby Z and I was thrilled when she called me to do a family shoot with her new 3 month old baby Kate. In addition to Kate, they also have a fabulous 13 year old daughter Samantha who was just a blast to photograph as well. Wendy liked a lot of the punchy color stuff I had done with Baby Z (or toddler Z as I know call him) so I kept many of the photos in color, which worked well in their beautiful home. Kate was totally the perfect baby, perfectly posed and perfectly beautiful!
