Hayley and Scott’s Engagement Shoot

 I am so excited to be photographing Hayley and Scott’s wedding at the amazing new SLS hotel this year.  Hayley and Scott are friends with Gaby and JR, whose wedding I photographed back in ‘07, right after Tess was born!  Scott actually proposed to Hayley at  Inn of the 7th Ray, in Topanga Canyon so we began the shoot there and then headed down to the beach.  Hayley and Scott are such an amazingly cute couple and very comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera which made my job easy!  My favorites from the shoot are probably the ones we did at the beach at the very end.  I LOVE the shot below!

Everett, his new dog Zuma….and his little cousin Tess!

Tess’s big cousin Everett who is 8 years old just got a dog!  Zuma is the cutest puppy ever….little Tess has competition now for the cutest new person in the family.  Tess LOVES her big cousin.  Unfortunately, at the time of the shoot, Zuma was budding teeth and was biting everything in site, including Tess….needless to say, the shoot was a little stressful.  Zuma’s teeth actually tore a huge whole in my new sweater dress….but when you become a mom, you realize that the survival of any species rests on the fact that we put up with all of this stuff because the young ones are JUST TOO CUTE!!!
