Tess on the go!

Well, we’re settling into the new pad in Malibu. Don’t worry, we still have the old place in Hollywood but it’s being used more as a recording studio so it wasn’t the safest place for the baby. So here we are. It’s SOOOOOOO bright here. Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever appreciated shade more in my life. The good news is that our new pad has these great big windows and it’s like one huge softbox. Plus, beach shoots are a breeze – bring them on! We don’t have much furniture yet so Tess has had free reign to crawl around. I can’t believe I finally live somewhere that has great light. Yay!

Rachel and Todd’s Engagement Shoot

I am so psyched to photograph Rachel and Todd’s wedding in May! I dug them from the moment I met them in their funky Marina Del Rey apartment and it was great to see them again for their engagement shoot. Rachel and Todd almost got married at the Adamson House in Malibu and they love Spanish architecture – so when they asked to do their engagement shoot there, I was game (it’s also down the street from my new digs!) Since it’s slow season with weddings, it’s so wonderful to go out on a Sunday after a restful Saturday (unheard of once spring hits) and take photos. And Rachel and Todd are super photogenic….which makes my job easy!
