Kelly and Mark’s Wedding Cake!
Kelly and Mark got married last September and I thought that their wedding cake was so amazing that I submitted it to Grace Ormonde Wedding’s Magazine and they featured it! I am so thrilled for Kelly – she is amazing! She designed all of details of her wedding herself and did the MOST amazing job. She is such a creative spirit….and so, of course, she designed this beautiful cake. Isn’t it AWESOME?!!!
Marisa and Ben’s Engagement Shoot
Marisa and Ben are clients after my own heart – they are musicians! Marisa just came off of a long stink as the lead violinist for Kayne West and Ben is a composer/saxophonist who tours all over the world with his own music and is currently in touring in Italy! Sorry, I love bragging about my clients – especially since it reminds me of the good old days when I was a musician on the road. I just love hearing and following their blogs to see what they are up to. Luckily, these jet setters are getting married in Santa Monica and I am blessed to be photographing their wedding. We took some photos on the bluffs in Santa Monica last month but I’m just getting to the blog now! Just a note to my clients: I’m really interested in doing more “lifestyle” couples photography with the engagment shoots. For instance: instead of taking engagement photos at a “location”, we would do it in your home, with you guys doing the normal thing you always do. If anyone is remotely interested in this, please let me know!
Nazema and Brian’s Wedding – 11.24.07

Nazema was referred to me by Shefali whose wedding I photographed back in 2005. She got in touch with me in June but I was so pregnant (I gave birth a week later) I couldn’t even meet with her. She was on her way to India and she got back in touch when she returned to the states in September and I’m so glad she did! Nazema is SUCH a sweet person, and the way her siblings spoke of her during their toasts brought me to tears. I have photographed Indian weddings before, but they were all Hindu ceremonies. This was my first Muslim wedding and I was really honored to experience it. Brian, who is obviously American, was a good sport with all the Indian traditions. And, of course, I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful bride!!!
Kim Fox Photography featured in “The Knot” and “Grace Ormonde Weddings”
I was so thrilled with The Knot Magazine got in touch to tell me they were going to feature Jennifer and Maurice’s wedding in their Winter 2008 issue. Their wedding really was so beautiful and the bride and groom were so psyched that it got in! Heather Kincaid was the 2nd shooter on this and she did an awesome job and some of these photos are hers as well! I had also submitted a photo of Kelly and Mark’s wedding cake to Grace Ormond Weddings as they were featuring fabulous cakes in their new issue. Kelly designed her own cake and it was FABULOUS. I have the magazine but I don’t have a PDF yet. I’ll post the pix when I get one!
